REPLACEMENT
1. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSY CENTER (SEE PAGE 71-10 )
2. REMOVE MULTI-DISPLA Y (CRT DISPLAY) DISPLAY (SEE PAGE 71-10 )
3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ARMREST ASSY CENTER (SEE PAGE 71-10 )
4. REMOVE AIRCONDITIONER AMPLIFIER ASSY
(a) Disconnect the connector.
(b) Remove the 3 screws and air conditioner amplifier assy.

HINT:
The valve opening temperature is stamped on the thermostat.
(a) Immerse the thermostat in water and gradually heat the
water.
(b) Check the valve opening temperature.
Valve opening temperature: 80 to 84 C (176 to 183 F)
