HINT:

1. INSPECT BACK DOOR PANEL SUB-ASSY

(a) Check that the clearance is within the standard value.

2. ADJUST BACK DOOR PANEL SUB-ASSY

ADJUST BACK DOOR PANEL SUB-ASSY


(a) Adjust the door by loosening the door side hinge bolts.

(b) Tighten the door side hinge bolts after the adjustment.

Torque: 8.0 NVm (82 kgfVcm, 71 in.Vlbf) for door side

(c) Adjust the door by loosening the body side hinge nuts.> (d) Tighten the body side hinge nuts after the adjustment.

Torque: 19.5 NVm (199 kgfVcm, 14 ftVlbf) for body side

ADJUST BACK DOOR PANEL SUB-ASSY


(e) Check that the door fit and door linkage are adjusted correctly.

(f) Adjust the striker by loosening the striker mounting screws.

Torque: 23 NVm (235 kgfVcm, 17 ftVlbf)

(g) Using a plastic hammer, tap the striker for adjustment.
